Preparation for our grand opening is going very well. We have been able to order more bags from Florence, Italy and we added wallets, men's and women's. This week we are ordering our leather jackets, vests, gloves, and more sunglasses. It is very exciting for us because of all the positive feedback we have been getting from all the new products. We are hoping the summer will bring more of the same and allow us to bring you an even bigger variety of products. We are hoping you are able to come for the grand opening . Don't forget that you will receive 10% off everything in the store for that day.

We are going to have our grand opening on May 14th from 10 am to 5pm at our store at 850 Main Street in Lewiston, Maine and everyone is invited. To help kick this off we will be giving a 10% discount off everything in the store, jackets, vests, chaps, patches, sunglasses, purses, wallets, belts and more. This will also introduce our new Saturday hours of 9am-3pm. Pizzas and beverages will be served at 12pm, while supplies lasts. There will also be a raffle for a $50.00 dollar gift card to L/A Harley. Just for coming in you will get a raffle ticket and if you make a purchase you will receive an extra ticket. We hope that you will be able to attend.

Now that we are settled in our new shop, it is time to update the website and over the next few weeks I will be adding more finished and raw materials to the website and store. From buckles, kits, hand tools, lace, wallets, purses, leather hides, outerwear and more. Purses, wallets, jackets, vests, chaps and many of the other finished leather products are new to Maine Line Leather and will only grow as time goes by. We want to become your one stop shop of your leather needs. If you want a jacket, wallet or belt, no problem or if you need a raw piece of leather to make your own then look no further, we have you covered. Now if your thinking, "I don't know how to make anything" don't worry your not alone. To help with that, we run classes from the fall to spring and take the summer off. We have a spot at the top of the site that lets you know what classes we are offering. They will be basic starter classes to get you going in the direction that you want in the leather world. Embroidered Patches

We have started adding to our patch collection. Every order we place for jackets and vests we will be adding about 10-15 patches. They will vary from saying patches like, "I Bleed Red White and Blue" to designs like eagles and skulls. If there are patches that you would like to see please let us know and I would gladly look for them and add them to our collection if we can. There is also someone on site who can stitch these on your jacket, vest, wallet or any other surface you want for a fee. The store is growing all the time so you should stop in and see what we have. You won't be disappointed with the quality and price.

Leather Purses From Italy

We are going to be stocking some great leather purses, totes, and wallets from Italy. We are expecting them Friday or early next week. These bags will be available for purchase but the ship date will be for later next week. This is an area that we plan on expanding on to offer a good variety for all your bag and wallet needs.

We are currently updating our website and it should be going live in the next week. It will have a new look and feel. We are expecting our first order of KD sunglasses on Friday, March 11. They are currently on our website for viewing our selection and purchasing. If you order before March 11 then you will have to wait a few days before we can ship them out. These are some of the nicest sunglasses I have come across and at affordable prices. We have had people come in looking for them and say that they purchase a few pairs just in case they lose them. Not only did we get sunglasses we also got goggles. If we don't have a specific pair of KD's let us know and we can get them next time we order.

New Location

We have moved from 35 Beech Street in Lewiston to 850 Main Street in Lewiston. We have more space than before and are filling it up fast. With a new location we want to add more product lines such as finished leather goods. Wallets, purses, bags, knife sheaths, belts and many other great items from us and other artisans that make there goods in the USA.

Having the raw goods for you to make your own products or finished leather products for you to purchase all in one place makes it convenient. . We are going to start having classes starting in February, so please check out Facebook page or the website. There will be a spot on the homepage for classes.
